Science is developing at a staggering pace. More and more books and journals are appearing on the market. The development of the Internet has paved the way for modern media. New electronic journals, web portals, etc., are being created. Contrary to appearances, despite universal access to information, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the ones we desire most in the maze of information.
The Institute of Logistics and Warehousing in Poznań has undertaken the task of ‘organizing’ knowledge. Meeting the needs of scientists, students, and practitioners, the Institute prepares bibliographic compilations regarding logistics and the electronic economy. Ready-made compilations are available on the website www.czasopismologistyka.pl. You can also place an individual order. You will then receive a bibliographic compilation on a topic of your choice. The compilations contain bibliographic data of books, articles from industry journals and daily press, conference materials, etc. The Institute of Logistics and Warehousing continuously tracks the development of logistics knowledge. Since 2003, it has maintained a Publication Database, on which 80 percent of the prepared compilations are based. People professionally interested in logistics and the electronic economy, writing a semester or master’s thesis, or looking for source materials can turn directly to the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing, which provides the only such service in Poland in the field of logistics.
