GEFCO is introducing a new service of daily connections between four countries: Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, utilizing its transshipment platforms in Vienna, Budapest, Brno, and Bratislava.
Thanks to high frequency and optimal transport times, GEFCO offers transport between 24 and 36 hours for connections between Bratislava, Brno, Vienna, and Budapest, and between 36 and 48 hours for “door-to-door” service across all these countries. GEFCO offers a reliable and efficient service in a region where few logistics companies provide daily less-than-truckload (LTL) transport service.
Through transshipment platforms in Vienna and Brno, the four countries can benefit from a daily connection with Western Europe, thereby strengthening the traditional Network. Furthermore, the existing LTL line between Vienna and Katowice increases the number of network connections with Poland. Thanks to the new service, the PSA Peugeot Citroën factory in Trnava gains an ideal, regional supply solution tailored to its needs.
The new offer is aimed not only at the automotive sector but also at other industrial branches, such as motorcycles, cosmetics, high-tech, or even specialized distribution.
