Schenker offers a containerized LCL (Less-than-Container Load) distribution system. The company’s clients benefit from direct connections between Gdynia and economic hubs such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Taiwan, and New York.
One of the solutions offered to clients as part of the SCHENKERocean package is sea freight distribution for LCL shipments (under the name SCHENKERcombine). This is a delivery system for smaller batches of goods without the need to rent an entire container. Of particular note are the “Far East Services,” which are LCL lines departing regularly every week from Asian ports to Gdynia without transshipment. The company’s clients benefit from direct connections with such global trade centers as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, and Kaohsiung/Keelung (Taiwan). The company also offers a direct import line on the New York – Gdynia route.
– By streamlining the process of returning goods, e.g., returns or defective products to manufacturers in Asia, we also offer a regular export connection directly from Gdynia to Singapore. This is a service designed specifically for the needs of Polish entrepreneurs cooperating with the Far East. – said Piotr Kozłowski, Air & Sea Director at Schenker Sp. z o.o.

Sea distribution of LCL shipments carried out by Schenker is characterized by short service lead times (on average 30-32 days for routes from the Far East and 20-21 days for the route from the USA). A regular connection system allows clients to plan weekly deliveries of even smaller batches of goods. The package also includes the option of customs clearance.
