DHL is the first company to offer a delivery service for shipments from Europe to Asia Pacific by 12:00 PM. DHL MidDay Express is also conquering Europe – its coverage now includes 72 percent of all business addresses on the continent.
DHL has introduced a new service for delivering non-dutiable shipments by 12:00 PM the next day in major cities and business centers across ten Asia Pacific countries. The DHL MidDay Express service is currently available for shipments imported to Europe from Asia Pacific.
From March 1, 2006, DHL will continue the expansion of TimeDefinite to and from Asia Pacific. The DHL StartDay Express service, which involves delivering shipments before 9:00 AM, will be the only one on this market available in five major Asian cities (Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Bangkok, and Taipei).
Also within European DHL, the coverage of TimeDefinite services, i.e., “door-to-door” delivery between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM with a money-back guarantee within Europe, has significantly increased. Following the latest expansion, DHL covers as much as 72 percent of business addresses in Europe, while in Germany, the service for delivering shipments before 12:00 PM is available across almost the entire country. The TimeDefinite service is currently available for over 110,000 postal codes in Europe and from Europe to 55 countries worldwide.
