Goodyear Dunlop Tires Polska Sp. z o.o., part of the Goodyear group, is introducing the new Sava Cargo C3 tire to the market in new 17.5 and 19.5-inch sizes, designed for low-platform trailers and semi-trailers.
Two wide circumferential grooves of the Sava Cargo C3 tire, along with two solid outer ribs and four grouped inner tread ribs, improve the performance parameters of the Sava Cargo C3 tire, which contributes to greater stability of trailers and semi-trailers, and consequently the entire vehicle. This is especially noticeable on curves and slippery roads.
Furthermore, the Sava Cargo C3 tire features lower rolling resistance, low operating temperature, and better braking performance. Additionally, this tire wears evenly and is characterized by an even distribution of pressure. It can be regrooved and retreaded.
– Thanks to the modern, improved rubber compound used in the Sava Cargo C3 and the characteristic groove pattern that prevents stones from getting stuck in the tread, this tire is resistant to damage and consequently achieves higher mileage. Additionally, the use of a completely new bead allows for better tire mounting, and the tire itself is more resistant to overloading, which is of great importance for trailer users – said Janusz Krupa, Product Manager for “truck tires” at Goodyear Dunlop Tires Polska.
The Sava Cargo C3 tire has enriched the range of Sava truck tire sizes with new 17.5 and 19.5-inch sizes. A new size, 235/75 R17.5, in which the Sava Cargo C3 tire is available, has appeared in the Sava tire range. The other two sizes, i.e., 245/70 R19.5 and 265/70 R19.5, currently available in the Sava Cargo Plus tread pattern, will be replaced by the new Sava Cargo C3 tread pattern.
