The jury has selected the winner of the 4th edition of the National “Piórem Logistyka” Competition

The paper titled “The role of the expedition and distribution center in creating value for the Poczta Polska logistics network” by Mr. Konrad Michalski won 1st place in the fourth edition of the National “Piórem Logistyka” Competition, organized by the portal www.logistyka.net.pl. Congratulations!

The competition jury admitted 6 papers to the competition, submitted by authors from all over the country. All papers were of a high substantive level and addressed issues important in the logistics industry. When evaluating the submitted texts, the Jury took into account, among other things, the connection of the content with logistics issues, the compliance of the content with the topic, its relevance, the author’s own contribution to the development of the topic, and the value of the work in terms of theory and practice. A maximum of 570 points could be obtained in the competition. Below we present the list of papers admitted to the competition along with their scores.

4. Paweł Ślaski “The use of modern demand forecasting and inventory management techniques for supply chain optimization on the example of fuel distribution” – 453 pts.
5. Grzegorz Klimarczyk “Integration of logistics networks using ePC” – 427 pts.
6. Andrzej Wojciechowski “Logistics – a ‘fashionable trend’ or a necessity of the times?” – 426 pts.

The winner of the 4th edition of the National “Piórem Logistyka” Competition receives a prize of 1000 PLN, and all authors of the qualified papers receive commemorative participation diplomas. It is expected that, in addition to the winning paper, other papers selected by the committee will also be published on the portal.
