Comarch enters the German ERP systems market

Comarch is introducing its flagship product, CDN XL, to the German market. The Comarch product, chosen by over 800 clients in Poland so far, will be presented for the first time in Germany during the COMTEC trade fair in Dresden (November 9-11).

At the same time, negotiations are underway with the first potential clients and partners.
CDN XL is a multi-module, fully integrated ERP-class system aimed at medium and large commercial, manufacturing, and service enterprises, which, thanks to its functionality, provides support and automation of business processes in the company. The system allows for online and offline work in multi-branch companies with a complex document flow system, which provides support for branch employees, wholesalers, partners, and salespeople. CDN XL supports EDI technology (e.g., on the ECOD platform), allowing for secure electronic document exchange. The system is also available in a rental version in the ASP model. Designed to increase sales efficiency, the solution is available in variants that meet the needs of various clients.

– Our product is fully adapted to German business realities, and we want to quickly gain a share of the market by offering medium and large entrepreneurs an advanced second-generation ERP system solution at a very competitive price – says Zbigniew Rymarczyk, Vice President of Comarch responsible for the ERP sector. – A distribution network similar to the one existing in Poland, covering over 700 partners, will be used for this purpose.

The recently opened new competence center in Dresden will help in the expansion into the German market, thanks to which the company has access to knowledge about the German market and the latest technologies. This will allow the company to increase its competitiveness in global IT markets and will also facilitate the flow of knowledge and business between Comarch companies in Eastern and Western Europe. The activities of the competence center in Dresden, which will employ 90 high-class specialists by 2008, include product and solution management, research and development, and vertical consulting. It also allows for better adaptation of the Polish company’s products to the requirements of Western European markets.
