At the beginning of October, the Logistics Library series, published by the Institute of Logistics and Warehousing , will release the third edition of the book titled “Fundamentals of Inventory Management in Examples” by Stanisław Krzyżaniak. The new edition of this publication, highly valued by the Polish logistics community, has been supplemented with two additional chapters in which the author discusses the most typical inventory level indicators and the issues of shaping inventory for goods purchased on a one-off basis.
The scope of the textbook is generally consistent with the requirements of the Junior Level as defined by the competence standards of the European Logistics Association (ELA).
Another novelty will be an extensive report titled “Electronic Economy in Poland”, presenting the results of research and statistics defining the state and dynamics of the development of the electronic economy in our country. A valuable addition to the book is a glossary of terms related to the e-economy.
