– Silesia, where the terminal in Pyskowice is located, is one of the most important economic regions in Poland. The modern Schenker logistics center located in this area will increase the operational capabilities of the Group’s logistics network – said Dr. Thomas Held.
The Katowice branch is one of the largest and most important in the Schenker logistics network in Poland. The center in Pyskowice serves clients on a national and international scale. It is a modern cross-docking facility, where the total area of the terminal, featuring 79 loading docks, occupies 7,000 sqm on a plot of 111,000 sqm. The modern solutions applied in the Pyskowice terminal allow for the rapid flow of information and shipments, while simultaneously minimizing the time goods spend in the warehouse. The terminal also meets all safety requirements. It is equipped with a digital video camera system, fire alarms, and an alarm system. Thanks to its location, the terminal in Pyskowice has excellent road connections both with important cities in Silesia and with other economic regions of the country.
