More TNT Express sorting centers have received certificates from the Technology Asset Protection Association. This fact was preceded by rigorous audits of the security procedures and infrastructure of each center.
TAPA certificates of the highest “A” category were awarded to the following TNT Express sorting centers: in Austria – Vienna and the new hub in Linz, Denmark – Kolding and the new center in Copenhagen, Finland – Helsinki and Turku, Latvia – Riga, Russia – Moscow and Saint Petersburg, Spain – the new hub in Madrid, and Turkey – the new center in Istanbul. TAPA “B” type certificates were awarded to: air and road sorting centers in Barcelona, as well as the hub in Seville (Spain).
TAPA grants certificates in three categories, depending on the value of goods transported in a given period (e.g., a month): category “A” applies to flows of the highest value.
