DHL has simplified import procedures, covering 218 countries with its new service, including Poland. The Import Express service applies to documents and parcels regardless of size and value.
Import Express is a comprehensive direct system service aimed at speeding up import procedures. It allows European customers to send documents and parcels of any size, weight, and value from or between 218 countries, using the services of a single company, under one invoice and one currency.
By using the Import Express service, customers can open an Import Express account by phone, which will enable the import procedure for goods from partners or suppliers around the world. DHL takes full responsibility for the shipment from the moment of collection until delivery, charging a single, pre-agreed transport fee for the service. As part of the service, the shipment and its current status are monitored online. The introduction of the Import Express service by DHL will further facilitate the process of importing goods and monitoring its progress. For the entire import service, the customer will receive one invoice in the local currency, which will facilitate budgeting and auditing of all imported shipments. DHL directs the new Import Express service in particular to companies in the manufacturing, automotive, and textile industries, electronics companies, the pharmaceutical and aviation industries, and companies providing financial services.
