Mobile fuels

The Krakow-based company MCCnet, part of the Koma capital group, has completed the implementation of its proprietary mobile system, MCC Transport, at Paul Klacska Polska, one of the largest liquid fuel carriers in the country.

The operation of the MCC Transport system is based on mobile data exchange between the company’s headquarters and its employees. Reports on activities performed by the driver are sent directly to the headquarters, where statements for the company and its clients are generated, and where decisions regarding the assignment of instructions and distribution of orders are made. MCC Transport is a modern system whose innovation lies in the integration of three technologies: mobile terminals (PDA/Pocket PC type or industrial computers), GPS satellite navigation system, and automotive onboard computer technology. As a backup solution, mobile access to the system via IVR (Interactive Voice Response) technology is used – entering orders via voice connection through a mobile phone. This solution is applied in emergency situations.

The MCC Transport system premiered in September 2004 during the international Fuel Forum PetroTrend 2005.
