New UPS services

UPS has announced the expansion of its service portfolio to ten new European Union member states by making its Returns and Cash on Delivery services available.

– These services will improve shipment visibility and increase flexibility in serving our customers across the EU – says Thomas Gebhard, Vice President of Sales for the UPS European Region. – Customers, including those in Poland, will be able to manage product returns with the same ease as their shipments, and thanks to UPS Cash on Delivery, these customers can reduce risk, improve cash flow management, and streamline financial operations.

Regardless of whether the services are used for returns of goods ordered online, products under warranty sent for repair, or items intended for recycling and reuse, they provide customers with a simple and convenient way to reintegrate returned goods into their inventory systems.

Together with the Returns service, UPS is introducing the Cash on Delivery service to the market. By using this service, UPS customers can conduct business with greater confidence, knowing that payment for the goods they deliver will reach them within a week. This not only reduces the risk of dealing with unknown customers and facilitates entry into new markets, but also improves corporate cash flows by accelerating payments.
