The Dutch company Schoeller Wavin Systems and the Swedish company Arca Systems are merging into a group named Schoeller Arca Systems, headquartered in the Netherlands. Thanks to this merger, they will become the world’s largest manufacturer of returnable plastic packaging for material transport and storage.
Both Schoeller Wavin and Arca have been operating on the market for many years. Schoeller Wavin leads the European market for containers and trays for beverage producers and companies cooperating on a pool basis, while Arca holds a similar position in the field of returnable plastic packaging used in various industries. Both companies have over 30 production and sales units in most European countries and on the American continent.
We are taking a huge step forward – says René Wolfkamp, CEO of Schoeller Wavin, who will also hold the position of CEO of Schoeller Arca Systems. In the longer term, beyond European markets, our ambitions also reach the United States and Asia.
