The Dutch-English food concern Unilever has signed an agreement expanding the scope of its cooperation with ACR Logistics.
ACR Logistics is one of the most important providers of logistics services for Unilever in Central and Eastern Europe. These services are carried out in two distribution centers in Poland: in Kolonia Klepaczka near Częstochowa and in Piotrków Trybunalski.
The distribution center in Kolonia Klepaczka is responsible for warehousing and distribution of products requiring controlled storage and transport temperature (mainly “Rama” margarine). In Piotrków Trybunalski, all Unilever products that do not require controlled temperature are handled (such as “Lipton” teas, “Hellmann’s” mayonnaise, “Knorr” instant soups, as well as cosmetics and detergents, e.g., “Rexona”, “Dove” or “Domestos”).
The new logistics service provided by ACR Logistics for Unilever consists in creating promotional tea sets containing various types of tea in a single commercial packaging (so-called variety packs). Due to the high quality of the sets produced and the competitive price of the service, ACR Logistics creates promotional sets for Unilever that are sold throughout Europe.
