SAP AG (SAP headquarters in Germany) has included the BCC competence center
(Business Consulting Center Sp. z o.o. in Poznań) in a global
project in which selected SAP partners test new,
currently developed versions of SAP NetWeaver solutions.
The Poznań-based company announced the establishment of a competence center
in the field of the SAP NetWeaver integration platform. BCC consultants
are carrying out Poland’s first implementations using this technology
and are obtaining successive certificates confirming their competence in
individual SAP NetWeaver components.
SAP NetWeaver services are a strategic direction for BCC’s development.
Since June of last year, the company has held the status of SAP Expert Partner
in this area. Last year, BCC created a team of over 20 consultants
using SAP NetWeaver components in SAP implementations
and the integration of SAP with other IT systems. The team’s competencies
are confirmed by certificates received by BCC consultants,
often as the first in Poland:
- Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform,
- Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver – ABAP Workbench,
- Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver ’04 – Enterprise Portal,
- Development Consultant SAP NetWeaver´04 – Exchange Infrastructure
& Integration, - Technology Consultant SAP NetWeaver´04 – Exchange Infrastructure
& Integration.
By decision of SAP AG, the BCC competence center has been included in the global
“ramp-up” project, under which SAP provides selected
partners with the latest versions of its solutions currently under development.
Partners participating in the SAP NetWeaver ramp-up project test
the solutions and, by providing feedback to SAP AG, actively co-create their
final shape. Participation in ramp-up gives BCC consultants
from the SAP NetWeaver competence center access to solutions that
will only be available on the market after some time.
NetWeaver is SAP’s open integration and application platform, which
currently constitutes one of the most important solutions in SAP’s offering.
It allows for easy connection of SAP systems with all major
IT products and technologies available on the market. SAP NetWeaver
integrates processes in complex IT environments, both inside
a given enterprise and between business partners. Clients
using the SAP NetWeaver platform achieve a reduction in the total
costs of maintaining IT infrastructure.
